ABOUT HET ZONNEHUIS
Het Zonnehuis Boxtel is located at Bosscheweg 157 in Boxtel from January 2021. This villa was built in 1934 under architecture and the architectural style is Amsterdam School. Over the years, the villa has been adapted to current housing requirements and is almost completely sustainable (Energy Label A). Solar panels and heat pumps are used, among other things, to meet the energy needs.
The current residents use the 1st floor as a Bed & Breakfast. The location has 3 spacious double rooms, one room has a kingsize bed and two rooms have a queensize bed. Besides there is a family room with 1 king-size bed, 1 twin bed and 1 single bed for children. In addition, there are 3 bathrooms and a separate toilet in the hallway available.
Our rooms
Our rooms and facilities are furnished with care to make your stay as comfortable as possible. There is also a family room that can easily accommodate 5 people. Each room has a large bed (King-or Queensize, TV, bathrobes and Wifi). All rooms have a view of the garden and the forest (Sparrenrijk) behind it.
OUR SERVICES
Breakfast
Breakfast is served downstairs in the breakfast room between 07:30 - 10:00 AM.
Free WIFI
Free WiFi is available throughout the house and garden.
Garden
The Park-Forest garden has been completely designed under architecture and integrated into the existing cultural landscape and is no less than approx. 6,500 m2. From the garden you can walk straight into Het Sparrenrijk or into the beautiful Venrode.
Cleaning
All rooms are cleaned daily. Sheets and towels are changed on request for stays of several days.

Energy
There is a Tesla charging station available. You can use this for a fee. Solar panels and heat pumps are used for a part of the energy supply and consumption.
Bike rental
It is possible to rent bicycles if available. Please contact us for this.

Boxtel has a wide range of museums, cultural attractions and galleries. Stroll along the Cultural-historical axis, admire the St. Peter's Basilica or visit the prehistoric museum. At 8 km is vibrant Den Bosch with museums, the beautiful St. Jan very easily accessible. Be surprised by the historic city center. Vught is 4 kilometers away. Here you can visit the National Monument Vught.
